Open one eye, close one eye.

[Pin Yin] Zheng1 Zhi1 Yan3 Bi4 Zhi1 Yan3

To pretend to know nothing about something unethical or improper.

Imagine this face: when you open one eye and close when eye, it's like you are appeasing something you have known. You may use this slang when you beg someone to forgive: "Please open one eye and close one eye. (請您睜隻眼閉隻眼吧!)"

[Example]
She pretend not to know about her husband's illegal love affair.

One's ears are soft

[Pin Yin] Er3 Gen1 Zi3 Ruan3

If someone is very receptive to other's opinion, or don't know how to tell right from wrong while listening to others, we can say "his/her ears are soft".

"耳根" actually means the roots of ears, the small parts connecting one's ears and head.

[Example]
She is so receptive that she will not reject whomever begging for her forgiveness.
